Narissa Mather – Antiques, and handcrafted, bespoke silverware & Jewellery
I’m Narissa. I have been designing and creating artisan silver jewellery since 1994.
My techniques and ethos are akin to the Arts and Crafts style; Judgedstil, this lady had an affinity for Scandinavian Silversmiths. Sadly, this came about because my father died in 2015, and I continued working in his antique business and became inspired by past design movements.
My love of colour and interest in vibrant enamel and chunky silver jewellery has led me to use my design skills to source and sell the antique and vintage pieces you can see on my website today.
I take pieces of damaged antique and vintage jewellery that catch my eye and, using my experience, transform them into a beautiful new creation that marries the old with the new.
I favour Victorian jet mourning jewellery as it works amazingly well with my silver design.
This enables my clients to choose unique pieces of jewellery. Giving them the peace of mind that they won’t find it in any other shop!

These two lovely brooches arrived in the post yesterday, all in good order. What fun they will be to wear.

Good news, the brooch has arrived safe and sound. It is much more beautiful in the daylight than on the internet.

In 1997 you made my lovely bracelet for me. I have worn it ever since I received it from you. It has become part of my identity. It is the piece that I value the most. Thank you for every day that I have worn it! (Today I found the receipt that enabled me to trace you).
I asked Narissa to rework my late Fathers wedding ring to fit me and add a little something to it. The result is absolutely beautiful and the attention to detail is outstanding. I would highly recommend Narissa for either reworking family jewellery or commisioning new ideas. Her approach is very personal and she has a wealth of knowledge. I absolutely love my ring.

Mums lovely necklace is just about finished, just needs hallmarking. With the help of the lovely Narissa Mather, we came up with a unique tree of life design with a beautiful inscription on the back. Thank you so much Narissa. Now I have something to cherish and remember her by.
