Exquisite William Comyns Enamel & Silver Buckle

We are offering this beautifully worked enamel on silver art nouveau belt buckle by William Comyns. This stunning and very fine example of repousse silver work and is hallmarked on both pieces of the buckle for London 1901. The buckle depicts a relief poppy design with tendrils with the background having been enameled in cobalt blue and turquoise. There is also a stamped registration mark on verso 37706. A stunning example in perfect condition.
