A beautiful trinket casket with a brass frame and silvered brass detailed panels. The piece is handmade and is a fine example of superb craftsmanship. The panels are lined in green leather and the interior with blue watermark silk. The key and lock suggest Austria/Bohemia rather than French in origin. The key and lock work with half a turn. In very good condition with a little wear to the silver here and there. Height = 8 cm (3.1″) Width = 12 cm (4.7″) Depth = 8 cm (3.1″)
