Val St Lambert Orange Cut To Uranium Bonbonniere

This is a very rare Val St Lambert décor. Orange glass is a difficult to produce, in addition it is overlaid onto yellow uranium or vaseline glass and is therefore very desirable. This piece dates from 1910 – 1920 and is too early a piece to be signed but the cut taille riche can be found in the 1908 catalogue. The pattern is repeated around the outside and it has a beautiful star cut base and lid. A super piece in excellent condition with some rub wear to the base. It fluoresces very well under a UV light.
