Very Large Fine Engraved Silver Victorian Locket

Description

A very large example of a silver double locket dating from the Victorian period. In very good antique condition with good hinge and fastens with a snap. Engraved with a floral design and granulation detail around the edge. Not hallmarked as common with this period but tests as silver. It is accompanied with a heavy 16″ chain that is possibly a little later in period but suits the locket well. Chain 16″ Locket length 6.5cm including the bail. Width 4cm
